Last week we put out our list of the most inventive producer right now. One of my personal favorites is Scottish producer Sam Gellaitry. His latest release ‘Temple’ is a strong example of why he deserved a place on the list. The song opens with a smooth relaxed sound that features beautifully stretched vocals. Just before the minute mark things take an interesting turn as Sam creates a more anxious sound before moving into a bass heavy drop. The track continues its evolution into a jazzy break before getting heavier once again. It’s music like this that makes Sam Gellaitry so incredible. His ability to seamlessly blend melodic soundcapes with gritty drops makes for a sound that is astounding.
