We’ve been rocking with Gladiator since they were blowing on that endo on ‘Gamecube Nintendo’. Over the past few years they’ve continued to evolve and their latest release ‘Cute’ is the pinnacle of that evolution. Connecting with Athletixx crew’s Kittens, they bring us a track that couldn’t be further from the title. Those expecting poppy vocals and sunshine synths will be gravely disappointed. Instead they craft a brooding club anthem that features everything from pitched down vocals and low end kicks, to swords crashing, dub-inspired bass lines and a maddening melody.
