We are always on the lookout for new ways to discover music from underground talent. The latest music discovery platform to land on our radar is Canadian based start-up Zambah. The platform allows artists to submit music to tastemakers (blogs, DJs, arists) with the hope to have their works included in the tastemaker’s playlist. We had the honour of being selected as Tastemaker on the platform and have put together a new rap playlist from the best submissions we received. Entitled Rap Without Boundaries the selections showcase the breadth within the genre. We’ve got everything from raw bars ‘Greatness’ to slapping trap ‘Young Moses’. Taking things further comes the hazy vibes from Ralph Foreign and the underground sound of Desh. Rounding it out is the autotune heavy ‘Time Of Your Life’ and the classic West coast feels of ‘On His G’. No matter what type of rap fan you are, we’ve got something for you.
