Barclay Crenshaw, Claude Von Stroke’s alter ego, is back again with another brain-bender. This time in mix form, Crenshaw transcends genres and dimensions over the span of 40 minutes. From the outset an otherworldy and sci-fi inspired soundscape pull you in. It’s a space ship acid trip equipped with an inexplicable range of sounds that somehow drift into each other perfectly. Transmission stitches together everything from A Tribe Called Quest and Special Ed to MF Doom and J.J. Fad, over to Losco and Salva. Oh and I can’ neglect to mentioned Schlachthofbronx & DJ Shadow make appearances along with some unreleased exclusives from Barclay Crenshaw himself.
