For the past week and a half LuckyMe has been rolling out free tracks as part of their annual Advent series. Today we received the biggest release to date, the highly anticipated ‘CandyMan’ from Baauer. As mentioned in the song’s description, it was actually recorded in the room with Fetty Wap while they created ‘Promises’ (they even have a version with Fetty Wap’s ‘My Way’ vocals over it). After not making the cut for Baauer’s Aa album it remained unreleased and highly sought after. Thankfully for us all, LuckyMe and Baauer have decided that it’s time give it away and for free at that! The tracks blends atmospheric soundscapes with an absurdly catchy and simplistic vocal loop which is assured to be stuck in your head all day. The first drop is mellowed out with deep bass while the second brings a more intense and futuristic feel. ‘CandyMan’ is yet another example that Baauer simply doesn’t miss.
