Medasin’s ‘Territory’ Is A Monster

Medasin is known for his ability to produce wildly different sounds and vibes. Most recently, he’s been leaning toward beautiful, future feels (see ‘Daydream’ and ‘California Heaven’). Today, he flips the script and gets back to that gritty shit with ‘Territory.’ From the first beat it packs a punch. Wonky brass is melded with rugged sound design, gun clicks, and dropping shells to set this one on fire. A solemn breakdown gives listeners a moment of reflection before things build up to the massive climax. Bringing in powerful chords with the aforementioned array of sounds take this one to 11/10.
