After a massive 2016 in which he releases his EP, Weapons 2.0, headed his own Diplo & Friends episode, collabed with Holly, remixed Justin Bieber, Jack U, and DJ Snake, 4B is already off to a fire start in 2017. The Jersey native just dropped off a delirium inducing remix of Dombresky’s ‘Utopia.’ While the original invokes the lofty notion of an ideal society, and 4B’s version utilizes the amen break, the result is anything but angelic; it is a bass heavy Jersey club track that satisfies our most base desires. It’s not meant to be inspiring or uplifting, rather it urges you to get down, let loose, and make whatever dark and dirty club you’re in your own paradise. The way 4B utilizes the bass in the drop conjures up the image of a wave pool, rising and falling as you bounce up and down to stay above the surface. Jump in and grab the free download.
