Palais (formerly Palace) was one of our selects for Need To Know Australian Producers back in 2014. After building a bigger buzz in 2015, he took 2016 off from releasing music. I often wondered when he would make his return and it seems the wait is finally over with the release of ‘Instant Crush’. Driven by the sultry and indulgent vocals from Your Girl Pho, the track is a summertime love song of epic proportions. It’s falling in love at a music festival. It’s infinite sunshine, warm weather and long smiles. It’s poppy in the best ways; infectious and addictive without being inauthentic. If you’re looking for something upbeat and sexy- this is it.
