Grandtheft is easily one of the best remixers in the game with official reworks for everyone from Calvin Harris and Dillon Francis, to DJ Mustard and Rihanna. Sometimes the official route doesn’t always work out though and you have to drop some heat for free. Apparently, this new ‘Starboy’ remix with Sam Spiegel has been caught up in label limbo for a minute. After rinsing it out in his sets for quite some time, he decided it was time to let it go for free and boy are we happy. The flip is an absolute monster. It embodies the catchy familiarity of the original while giving it an exponential increase of knock. The use of Daft Punk-inspired vocal bends along side trapped out drops take it into another dimension. Download the remix here.
