Californian wevor trill is the latest new producer to pique our interest. He first landed on our radar when FUXWITHIT favorite Andrew Luce reposted his ever evolving ‘Drop’. The combination of crack-the-concrete bass and the beautifully melodic break instantly impressed. After listening to ‘Yayzer Beam’ I was sold, so much so that I knew we had to lock down a premiere for his next release. Today we have the honour of debuting his massive rework of Post Malone’s ‘Congratulations’. The track opens with an enticing and hypnotizing loop that gradually builds. As Post Malone’s vocals come in as do the drums. The first half burns slow with just enough knock. It’s slapping while giving listeners the feel that it’s still building. As Quavo’s verse slides in, the track takes a hard turn for the gritty. With booming bass and retooled instrumentation, wevor trill takes the track to 10.
