The Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Juicy’ is one of the most iconic hip-hop records of our generation. Although the a capella has been floating around forever, few producers have been brave enough to put their own spin on it. Flipping a record that massive is no easy feat but it seems JOKER is more than up to the task with ‘B.I.G’. The track spreads the familiar vocals over an icy grime beat that’s punctuated with distorted bass and snapping drum work. JOKER strips down the instrumental several times over to really let specific lyrics standout. It’s a clever tactic that’s sure to help DJs hear the fans scream as they rinse this out. Apparently the track has been popping up in JOKER’s sets for some years but now we finally have the high quality version and it’s available for free download!
