Newly released through Sola Sounds is the new single from Perth based bass producer Son-J. He has teamed up with the sultry vocalist Mothica for ‘You,’ a refreshing take on the future sounds we are hearing so much of right now.
Given a languid energy from the get-go, almost eerie riffs are laid down around Mothica’s drawling tones, and bring a depth to the track. The intensity here bubbles beneath the surface, looping together shuffling beats and punchy bass jerks into the mix to make this a standout release.
