This time, she pairs up with Toronto’s own 13 to provide ‘DRUGS!’: a track which will take you for a crazy ride – one you may not be able to fully comprehend or handle.
Everything starts off light, playful, and wonky, and, like the singles that came before it, has Rezz’s signature air of mystery to open the track. However, it peaks hard at the drop, and packs a heavy punch with each beat; the drop features a nice blend of 13’s grungy wubs, with Rezz’s beat formation laid down as a solid foundation. Overall, it feels like an uneasy trip that you just can’t get enough of.
