Brasstracks can do no wrong. After dropping a slew of stellar remixes (‘XO TOUR Llif3,’ ‘All Of The Lights’) earlier this year, they’ve opted to move into unleashing originals. ‘Fever’ and ‘Favorite’ are both home runs and with the release of ‘Those Who Know’ they complete the Trifecta. The first listen will have you wondering, “damn, who’s that vocalist and why didn’t they credit him?” It turns out it’s not some new R&B upstart but actually Brasstrack’s own Ivan Jackson (is there anything he can’t do?). The track merges inspiring and smooth vocals with the jazzy meets hip-hop future brass sound that we know and love.
