Good news: Quality Goods Records – the fledgling label fronted by the one and only UZ – is back and they are bringing more heat with a new collaborative single from Yvng Jalapeño and Ian Munro.
Both producers have been having pretty productive years, with Jalapeño touring with Marshmello while Munro, himself a Quality Good Records artist, has been chalking up listens on some of his remix work including his massive rework of Mt Eden’s ‘Sierra Leone.’ On ‘I Don’t Need You’ they pool their collective and unique talents together to create a rough yet smooth, melodic yet dynamic vocal-led trap cut which calls on singer Cultra to provide the emotive powerful vocals that layer the track.
