PREMIERE: Holly’s ‘New York Taco’ Is A Masterclass In Juxtaposition

by Colin

Holly might be the hottest producer out right. In the past 3 years he’s somehow managed to drop 200+ songs. But it’s not just the quantity but the quality. Everything he touches is certified flames. Don’t take our word for it?  Well he did just get co-signed by some of the best producers in the industry by winning the first ever Producer Battle at A-Trak’s Goldie Awards. Today he returns with one of his illest tracks yet in ‘New York Taco (featuring Inverness)’. The track is a bass music masterpiece that stitches together stunning  earthly soundscapes with abrasive out of this world sound design. One minute you’re walking through a meadow at sunrise, the next you’re hurling through space at a thousand miles per hour. It’s calming and delicate and abusive and simply insane. It’s proof yet again of the power of juxtaposition in music and a testament to just how talented Holly truly is.

‘New York Taco’ is one of three new tracks off Holly’s brand new Beijing EP. The project also includes ‘Web Friendship’ and ‘Fomuh Ride’. Stream all 3 below and grab the EP via Buygore’s Fresh Blood.
