Logic stopped by Shade 45 to teach rappers how to freestyle on a radio show (it seems to be a lost art). Spitting viscous bars off the top of the dome, Logic gets personal discussing being kicked out of his sister’s house, becoming homeless and the break-up with the love of his life. He also chronicles his rise and mentions spitting with Nas on an NYC rooftop. As he closes his first verse Statik brings up how he spits off the top with “no Blackberry, no iPhone” Logic promptly interrupts saying he “doesn’t understand…” making him bring the beat back, so he can once again flaunt his true freestyle abilities.
“This is strictly off the top, it’s never written cause that shit is forbidden, I’m never kiddin’ like a bitch that’s on that bitch control, god damn…w..second that I feel the vibe, and yes I’m fucking up, so that’s how you know that this shit is so god damn real”
Logic continues to take rap back to the essence and this further illustrates why he’s one of the best in the game.
