After building anticipation by dropping the artwork last week, Kendrick Lamar has released his first single off his upcoming album. Entitled ‘i‘ the track centres around the lyrics “I love myself” . Rather than being an egotistical theme it’s meant more as an anthem to instill self confidence and have listeners singing along. With bars like “peace to fashion police, I wear my heart, on my sleeve, let the runway start” Kendrick shows he isn’t scared to be himself.
