CRNKN is an artist that I have been following for quite some time. He made a name for himself as Trap music was just starting to make noise and dropped a ton of bangers including ‘Booty 2 The Ground’ and ‘No Hands’. When he released his beautiful remix of TOKiMONSTA’s ‘Go With It’ it seemed he may be taking a new direction. Time proved it to be true as the past year has seen the producer experimenting with a variety of different sounds and genres from Deep House to Electronica and Future Bass. His latest release ‘Glaciers’ may be his greatest evolution yet. The song combines a multitude of musical elements for a sound that is unique and breathtaking. It opens with heavenly looped vocal samples and elegant synths that lead into a mind boggling yet stunning drop. The track is truly mesmerizing and deserving of the often overused title epic.
