Diplo is no stranger to exploring new genres and sounds. The man is constantly on the lookout for the next big thing, having tried his hand in Moombahton, Trap, Dubstep, and Electrohouse to name a few. With that said, it comes to me as no surprise that he has decided to take a stab at Future Bass. The genre has been gaining serious momentum all year and Diplo jumping into it is only going to make it bigger. Taking Zola Jesus ‘Go’ Diplo adds some drum work that at first listen seems to lean towards a trap sound. It’s not long before Diplo pushes into some Future Bass with wonky synths and well placed percussion. The track is anthematic, upbeat and moving. Not to mention the original vocals are stunning. This further proves why Diplo is one of the best producers out; his ability to drop consistently great music in various forms. Stream below and let us know your thoughts.
