People really need to stop sleeping on Drek Martinez. The NY based producer is responsible for some of the best tracks of the year including ‘No Love Lost’, ‘Muse’ and a stunning remix of ‘6th Gear’. Despite the phenomenal material he’s still managed to remain under the radar (though I predict not for long). Today we are pleased to premiere his latest work, a remix of Galantis ‘Runaway (U&I)’. The rework adds a deep level of emotion and creativity. A beautiful build with the vocals from the original sets the stage. As Drek brings in the drums and synths things start to heat up. A gun click let’s you know it’s about to pop off and the inventive hard hitting drop is sure to excite bass heads.
