Toronto based producer Pusher and Oakland’s KRNE are two artists who have been killing it on the low. KRNE’s been tearing up SoundCloud and the blogosphere with heaters like ‘Homage to G’, ‘Howls’, & ‘Get Ur Freak On’. Meanwhile Pusher has been making a name for himself with shiny colouful future bass tunes (see ‘Islands, Waves Caves, & Skies’, ‘Take U There’ & ‘Switch’). Based on his recent sets, it seems that Pusher has been feeling the trap sound and what better way to dive into it than connecting with KRNE for a collab? ‘Bark Bark’ utilizes bent vocals samples, exotic synths and a multitude of bass. There’s a synth pattern reminiscent of TNGHT’s ‘Gooo’ in the intro and breakdown but the remaining elements are anything but familiar. Break out your subs and prepare to be blown away.
