Alex Young has been a favourite of mine ever since he dropped his ‘Right On Time’ remix. Over the span of the last two years the D.C. artist has grown and progressed immensely. From the massive festival trap anthem ‘Madlibs’ to the moving ‘When I Die’ remix, to the mind metling ‘Hellcat’ remix, each release brings forth something new. After a near silent start to 2015, Alex Young has emerged from the depths of the studio with promise of a new album (coming soon) and an apology for the wait. The apology comes in the form of a free 11 track EP aptly titled Sorry For The Wait. The project is a sporadic but impressive collection of demos that range from low end trunk rattlers (‘Rumble In The Jungle’) to space odysseys (‘Galaxies and Nebulas’) and even a Miley Cyrus remix. If these are only his demos, this album is going to be a game changer. Listen to tracks below and cop the free downloads.
