Earlier this year, legendary DJ/Producer Craze and rap OG Trick Daddy connected for the banging Miami anthem ‘Bow Down’. It seems only right that for the remix they reached out to the hottest Miami duo out – GTA. Those used to GTA’s hard hitting, party jumping sound will be displaced at first. A cinematic, almost ethereal opening leads into a heavy trap beat. As the track builds you expect an exuberance of energy but are instead met with a deep, bass heavy and slowed up sound. Menacing horns add an air of grittiness and puff the track’s proverbial chest out. Most surprising is the end which sees a delicate hip-hop beat with pitched vocals repping the 305.
Also taking on remix duties is Russian producer Sudden Beatz. The rework utilizes some killer cuts and epic breaks to prep listeners for some fierce and sinister drops. Both remixes do serious justice to the original and depending on what you’re looking you may love either, or both, I certainly do. The EP also comes with the original and the instrumental.
