In August, Toronto native Abel Tesfaye otherwise known as The Weeknd dropped his sophomore album Beauty Behind The Madness. If you’ve been paying attention, not only did a handful of the tracks grace the number one spot but Abel also broke out on to the pop scene with undeniable hunger. The kid from Toronto made huge waves in the last year alone and for today’s throwback we look back at one of his biggest bangers. Last year right around the time of his KOTF Tour with ScHoolboy Q and Jhené Aiko, The Weeknd blessed fans with a single titled ‘King of the Fall’. Well, ’tis the season and this tune showcases many of the Queen Street roamers talents. Well written lyrics coupled with a beat he co-produced alongside long time XO/CP compadré DaHeela, ‘King of the Fall’ is an anthem made for those who love the season as well as getting lit and fine women. Check it out below.
