NIGHTOWLS have been killin’ the remix game since they first flipped ‘Wrist’. Keeping true to the fact is their latest release, an official rework of Prince Fox’s ‘Wait Until Tomorrow’. The song opens with a slightly heavier rendition of Prince Fox’s Future Pop vibe. The sunny sound is quickly mutilated and drug into the darkness for a wonky drop that would surely make any dubstep fan proud. The break mellows out for a sound that is conflicted between upbeat and ominous; the melody is fun but the vocal effects posses an underlying wariness that is realized once again when the bass makes its return. The track is a bridge between afternoon pool parties and 2am clubs sets and I predict this finding it’s way into both. Stream below and grab the track off iTunes.
