Nothing says Summer like a beach-based music festival. It’s that perfect blend of sunshine, sand and sounds that is guaranteed to be a highlight of your year. It seems like it couldn’t get any sweeter but what if you threw in some high octane sports to crank the intensity up even higher? That’s exactly what Monster Energy is going to be doing this year with their Center Of Gravity festival. The event promises some of the hottest talents in electronic and hip-hop music and a wide array of extreme and traditional sports including: freestyle motocross, skateboarding, BMX, beach volleyball and more. Taking place at Wasaga Beach from August 19-21, this is guaranteed to be one for the books. Center of Gravity started in Kelowna, BC and is looking to kick off it’s inaugural event in Ontario. There’s no details on the line-up yet but if the BC event is any indication of what to expect, this is a can’t miss (the Kelowna line-up features Skrillex, Ice Cube, Destructo, Party Favor and NGHTMRE to name a few).
