Back in January, Australian producer Flume teased fans with a four and a half minute preview of his Skin LP. The teaser blew our minds and had everyone counting down the days until its release. Singles like ‘Smoke and Retribution,’ ‘Never Be Like You’ and ‘Say It’ further added to the already immense levels of hype. Flume is regarded as one of the most groundbreaking and skillful producers in electronic music and Skin demonstrates why. 16 tracks deep, the album challenges listeners while taking them on an epic auditory expedition. It’s a melting pot of future bass, trap, hip-hop, electronica, pop and everything in between. The diversity and originality prove that Flume really is as good as everyone says he is.
