Now this is what you call a stacked track! For the first single off his upcoming Fool’s Gold project, Promnite connects with Denzel Curry, Nell, J.K. The Reaper, Twelve’len & Mr. Carmack. With this much talent on a record it’s no surprise that ‘Gunsmoke’ is killer. The ambient opening and chant-like vocals make you wonder what exactly you’re in store for. As Denzel Curry’s raw flow cuts in the beat blacks out with a fittingly gritty bump. From there it finds a fine balance between blunted soundscapes and pure aggression.
