Toronto’s DW Waterson (a.k.a. hey! dw) is quite the busy woman.
On top of being a drummer, DJ, and producer, she’s also the creator and director of That’s My DJ, a fast-paced and visually stunning web series about the trials and tribulations of a party promoter in Toronto.
We caught up with her between all this madness to talk about what it’s like to juggle so many creative projects, how her web series inspired a monthly party in downtown Toronto, and the utter importance of a DIY mindset for artists in the internet age.
