After a near silent 2016, Palais (formerly Palace) is back in a massive way for 2017. Last month he wowed us with infectious summer anthem ‘Instant Crush,’ and today he’s back with another heater. ‘Chimera’ shrugs off the poppy stylings of his previous release for a futuristic trap feel. It’s an enticing soundscape that weaves together shimmering sunshine with a punchy grittiness. The balance of cheery synths and dark deep bass are perfection.
