With four months to go before the big celebration, BC’s iconic Shambhala Music Festival delivers a pretty stacked lineup, with more names to be revealed over the following weeks.
Tickets for this year’s event sold out back in September, in a record-breaking 16 hours – it goes without saying that the hype for this has been building exponentially since. Now that it’s revealed that this year’s festivities will include artists such as A-Trak, Pendulum, Kill The Noise and Rezz, the anticipation really sinks in, and all we can do is wait, day by day, for the August 11th-14th weekend.
The festival’s “main stage,” the Pagoda, is going to be revamped for this year’s event, after being torn down last fall; the Living Room stage will also get a complete makeover. Aside from that, there’s also been talks about some of the previous attractions held at the farm, which COULD indicate that there’s even more surprises bound to take place in mid-August.
The full lineup is scheduled to be revealed on April 17th, which is when the Shambhala team will also start releasing stage-specific lineups throughout the week. You can keep up do date with future announcements on Shambhala’s Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as the official Shambs website.
