SLUMBERJACK Continue Growth With ‘Fracture’ EP

by Colin

Australian production duo SLUMBERJACK are back with 5 a track EP. Fracture builds upon they’re established sound; blending future bass, trap and even a slight dubstep influence. The project kicks off with ‘Afraid, Unafraid’ a vocally driven tune that fuses warm weather feels with emotional appeal. ‘Paralyse’ is a clear standout, finding the perfect balance between stirring soundscapes and vicious sound design. ‘Take Me’ builds upon that vibe with an even more filthy backing. ‘Cradle To Grave’ slows things down with a cinematic soundscape that slowly builds tension for the project’s climax. The title track closes things out perfectly, embodying SLUMBERJACK’s wordly influence, strong songwriting and forward-thinking prowess. The EP is another step in the duo’s growth and proves they will only continue to evolve. Stream it below and grab Fracture via Mad Decent.
