As if ‘Kingdom’ wasn’t rugged and raw enough, the track just received two sinister remixes. Coming first is Jon Casey’s mind-bending take. Casey bends and tweaks the vocals creating anxiety and anticipation as a dank backdrop gives you the feeling of something nightmarish lurking on the horizon. When it finally opens up it’s a slaughter of staggering synths, big bass and sharp drums. Gold Standard takes a different approach, opening things in a more inviting manner with warm guitar riffs. As the track builds the darkness creeps in, drifting itself into a drop that feels like a 75-foot robot wreaking havoc on an ancient city.
