After dropping the original earlier this year to surprise recognition and acclaim, Belgium’s very own Maverick is back for the summer with the remix to his recent sleeper hit ‘Pull The Strings.’
Featuring vocalist Selah Sue, Maverick takes a back seat on the production with newcomer Tunaki in the driving seat – and his remix certainly gives the track a different kind of flavour. Not too much is known about Tunaki thus far but he certainly has some serious production chops – future bass is the order of the day with a side order skittering hi-hats and choppy, pitched lead melodies. Selah’s voice remains emotion filled, powerful yet strong and sit well on the new instrumental.
