Ben Bruce and Dylan Gold, both known as the forward-thinking experimental bass duo um.., generated a lot of buzz before and after their Canadian debut at Shambhala Music Festival last month.
“Did you catch um.. last night!?”
“Um.. went IIIIIN! They were so fucking heavy.”
“One of my fave sets of the weekend was um.. at Amp.”
Along with conversations focusing on a round of Do You FUXWITHIT and rating some dogs, we got to chat with the duo on Saturday afternoon at Shambhala. We were all still getting used to the nightly routine, having only been through the first official night of the festival. We met up with Dylan & Ben, who were both beaming with energy, and eager to sit down and chat… almost like happy little puppers.
We found a nearby golf cart, got them comfortable, set up camera, and started the questionnaire.
Ben & Dylan rocked the Amphitheatre to a densely-packed crowd on Thursday evening, followed by a b2b set at the Electric Mexico campsite alongside Great Dane, as well as sumthin sumthin– both fellow collaborators on their recent EP, a dogs tale.
