Nicky Romero‘s imprint, Protocol Recordings, has released a new showcase project, and just in time for this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event! The Protocol Lab series features new and rising talent, with a new compilation each week up until ADE kicks off.
This week’s showcase starts off with Raiden sporting an old-school-rave vibe, with his track ‘Acid Love’, which will keep you energized all night long if left on repeat. Afterwards, the rest of the compilation takes a much funkier turn. Execute & FaderX deliver the groove with ‘Cabrio’, and then Tarlan & Lexon bring on ‘Saxy’ – as the name suggests, there are some sexy sax tones heard throughout, as you travel through the jungle-like vibe of this banger. Funkybeat makes a return from Part 1 with ‘Magnetic’, an interstellar tune to close off this week’s lab showcase nicely.
Check out last week’s Part 1 of the Protocol Labs, and be on the lookout for Part 3 which releases next week! If you’re going to be in the area for ADE, you won’t want to miss Nicky Romero & Friends’ 5 Years of Protocol Showcase, happening at Amsterdam’s Melkweg on October 18th – you can get tickets to the event here.
