British house producer Redlight has a new album set for release soon! Its latest single, ‘Zum Zum’, has been a staple in his recent DJ mixes, bringing the dance floor to life every time he unleashes it.
It rocks a soft yet funky house beat, which has a hint of an early 2000’s vibe to it, along with a melody that’s resemblant of a low pitch, 8-bit MIDI sound. The song also features Sweetie Irie, who delivers his iconic ragga-flavoured vocals to have you bobbing and shakin’ to the tune before you even know it.
For the instrumentalists at heart, there’s also a Dub Mix which helps accentuate the groove aspect of the beat, whereas Sweetie is mainly featured as a whispery, underlying vocal sample. The tune is now out via Insomniac Records – while waiting for Redlight’s full album to release, sometime in early 2018, catch a ride with ‘Zum Zum’ below.
