ATL producer HXV is a trap pioneer who’s always working to push the music scene forward while crafting new soundscapes. This was most apparent on his last project Separation, and it continues through with the release of ‘Neon Grave.’ The track is dark and somber with an underlying level of perseverance and hope. Snapping drum programming is layered with thick distortion and emotive loops. It’s stripped down and bolstered back up several times throughout, making it feel like a deeper journey that continues to evolve.
