Diplo & Lil Xan‘s ‘Color Blind‘, off Diplo’s latest EP California, gets a collaborative makeover! Max Styler, pictured, and TWERL come together and showcase what made the smash tune so unique, as well as place their own twists on it for that perfect summery, dance-ready vibe.

The two artists have worked together before, namely with the track ‘Wasted Time‘. Their take on ‘Color Blind’ retains Xan’s lyrics, making it perfect for singing purposes. It also brings together elements found in each artist’s general style(s), one example being Styler’s use of wavy synths in the past, which are most prevalent during the drops of this remix. (This is but a speculation, though.)
The overall product is an atmosphere which feels and holds on to the original’s uplifting & light-hearted nature, and gives it a bouncier twist, complemented by a heavier bassline. The ‘Color Blind’ remix is part of Diplo’s California (Remixes) pack, out now via Mad Decent/Columbia Records.
