Last month we named Rome in Silver as one of the top artists to watch in our Focus Five segment. It seems we weren’t the only ones with our eye on the California producer. UZ’s Quality Goods Records is known for having a keen eye for talent as well and they’ve proven it yet again by scooping up Rome in SIlver’s new EP Spirituality.
The full project drops later today but we have a sneak peak of ‘Into It’ featuring Chicago rapper SoloSam. The two prove to be a perfect match, crafting a genres-fusing, inspirational anthem. The intro is upbeat and vibey creating a breezy and promising mood. As SoloSam’s verse kicks in, Rome brings in growling bass giving it a gritty downtempo feel. Rays of sunshine peek through as SoloSam characterizes his hustle. The break flips the script again by adding in an upbeat club feel. ‘Into It’ bounces across sounds and keeps evolving, it’s a showcase of Rome In Silver’s ability to intertwine the widest array of sounds without it ever sounding disjointed.
