We’ve been featuring almost every single from RL Grime’s newest album Nova in anticipation of its release today, and now we’re super stoked to finally showcase the project in its entirety. With six of the fifteen tracks from the album having been released prior to today, there’s still nine brand new masterpieces from the king of trap, and while we won’t comment on each one individually, it’s worth noting that they’re all worth listening to from start to finish.
The album’s first track, ‘Feel Free’, is actually the only song apart from the interlude that is entirely written and produced by Steinway himself, but it sets the stage for an epic journey with the artist’s creative trap sounds shining through. In addition to a few vocal-driven tracks with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Joji, Jeremy Zucker and many more, RL Grime explores new territories such as a drum & bass with Shrine and indie-rock with Atoms, and he blends his signature with these new genres with ease. With artists such as Skrillex, Diplo, graves, and Boombox Cartel all credited with production, you quickly realize that Nova was well worth the wait.
