Baron Fields’ ‘Pretty Words’ EP Lives Up To Its Name

by Steph Contant

It has only been slightly over a year since Orlando-based producer Baron Fields has been putting out music, but his talents have quickly garnered the attention of one of the best beat-makers in the game in the form of Great Dane. In addition to a plethora of other beats, remixes and flips, and his release on ADBC Records, he has also put out a feels-ridden future bass heater on Lowly Palace, attesting to his ability to create versatile works while keeping his signature melody-driven signature present in all of his tracks.

After delivering three unique singles over the last month, yesterday marked the release date of Baron Fields’ first full EP titled Pretty Words. The project is a beautifully chill musical experience perfect for a end-of-summer sunset drive. Starting us off with ‘Blabbermouth’ and ‘Serotonin’, Baron Fields instantly creates a relaxing environment highlighted by melodic synths and samples. ‘Recognize’ and ‘Conducter’ take on a marginally different tone than the first two tracks, this time showcasing the producer’s beat-making skills and giving listeners a taste of exactly why he’s being enlisted by the likes of Great Dane. Finally, Pretty Words is capped off with two more tracks that are reminiscent of the first two, easing out of the project just as smoothly as he started it off.

Pretty Words is an EP you do not want to miss so check it out in its entirety below!
