There is no shortage of heat coming from these two, and they acknowledged each other’s dominance by collaborating on a massive remix for ATLiens’ ‘Witch Doctor’ earlier this year.
Yesterday saw PEEKABOO and G-REX come together once again in an original that can be described as a fury of freeform bass. Both artists have a signature minimalist sound that focuses on heavy bass lines and underground wobbles, and their latest track titled ‘Babatunde’ released on Wakaan shows listeners exactly why these two are a match made in heaven. The artists waste no time creating an eerie atmosphere before building into a brain-melting drop that can only be fully appreciated with a good set of headphones. The second drop takes listeners on an even wilder journey accentuated by gut-wrenching sound design and hypnotizing percussion. Simply said, the newest concoction from PEEKABOO and G-REX is a must-listen for all bass lovers.
