Egzod has been circling our radar for quite some time. With a couple tracks landing in our FUXWITHITFRIDAYS features, we’ve been keeping a keen eye out for what he has next. As he gears up to release his Atman EP, he’s commanded our attention with the second single entitled ‘Legacy’. His strongest and most ambitious release yet, the track takes listeners on an epic journey through genres and soundscapes. The opening embodies a foreign, almost tribal energy that is seeded with a dark undercurrent. This vibe is carried into the drop which traps things out but still remains entrancing. Just when you get comfortable things get flipped into double-time, taking the track to warp speed. A break re-balances your energy before coming back with a wild mid-tempo bass section that eventually drifts back into trap. ‘Legacy’ is an ever-evolving beast that feels fresh at every turn.
