K?D’s ‘Find Paradise’ EP Is The Work Of A Musical Genius

by Steph Contant

The last twelve months have been action packed for k?d. Coming off a hot collaboration with Wolfgang Gartner and two boundary-pushing singles, there’s no denying the young talent’s sound is evolving with each and every release. A couple of months back, k?d announced the Find Paradise tour that kicked off on September 14th, which was to be accompanied with his debut EP of the same name. As the tour was in full swing, many anticipated the release of the project, but the wait finally came to an end yesterday.

Originally expected to be five tracks, the creative genius continued with his surprises by adding a sixth track to the Find Paradise EP. That’s just the beginning of the surprises, too, as the project sees k?d exploring the unknown in terms of genres, yet does it so masterfully. Every track features the robotic, glitchy sounds that k?d has made his signature, but they are always flawlessly combined with unusual surroundings. While ‘Electronic Memories’ with Mickey Kojak brings listeners back to the artist they originally fell in love with, k?d goes full drum & bass in ‘Creator’s Flower’ and psy-trance in ‘Destroy The Universe’, blowing us away with his unmatched versatility and excellent production. ‘Polluted Blood’ and ‘Tokyo’ are further displays of the skilled producer’s innovative mind, touching on experimental, industrial bass and gritty electro. Finally, the EP’s title track is melodic and euphoric and contains those unique drums that scream k?d’s name, rounding out one of the most intricate projects of the year.

The Find Paradise EP is bound to have at least one track that will please any die-hard fan of a certain genre, and most electronic music fans will appreciate the genius behind every track. Check it out below!
