It’s been a hot minute since we’ve featured Ramzoid, but it’s not due to his lack of producing. The young yet talented artist consistently makes fire beats and remixes on his YouTube channel, frequently flipping the latest and greatest rap artists into something fresh. However, his latest official release dates back to December 2017, with a couple of unofficial remixes popping up on his SoundCloud in the meantime. This relative silence has officially come to an end, with Ramzoid dropping his highly-anticipated WORLD EP today on Alt:Vision Records.
It is obvious from the get-go that Ramzoid has drawn influence from his favourite rappers as of late, as all four tracks on WORLD have rap-inspired vocals. Interestingly enough, those vocals come from the young genius himself, showing fans that he can flawlessly add another musical element to his already-impeccable production abilities. While present in every track, these vocals don’t undermine the crisp sound that Ramzoid has developed – and won fans over with – over the years. Every track is similar in nature, featuring the Canadian producer’s distinct synths and percussion in a beautiful hybrid of trap and future bass. Nonetheless, the melodic aspects and unique elements of each song makes them stand out individually as powerful pieces of music.
