Oliverse Continues His Dominance With ‘Dance For Me’

by Steph Contant

Some would argue that dubstep is recently becoming a battle of sound design, with less importance given to musicality and melody. Legends such as Flux Pavilion certainly think so, as his recent tweet suggests he is growing tired of this monotony. While this debate is very subjective, there’s no denying that Oliverse is one of the best at combining melodic aspects with raw, unadulterated bass. His remixes and originals are consistently blurring lines between music to dance to versus music to headbang to. This artistry is finally getting the recognition it deserves, with Oliverse announcing he has signed with Disciple Records a few weeks back.

Coming off the massive five-track Dimension EP, it seems Oliverse is not slowing down anytime soon as he’s already back with a new single. The track, titled ‘Dance For Me’, is further personification of the British producer’s essence as an artist. Although dominated by gritty synths and rugged bass, ‘Dance For Me’ has a musical facet that makes you want to sign along. Oliverse has listeners entertained for the entirety of the track with his signature sound that is quickly putting him at the top of the dubstep game.

If an additional Oliverse single wasn’t enough, the track is accompanied by a heavy-hitting remix of his track ‘Passion’ from Dodge & Fuski and another beautifully melodic bass remix of ‘Get 2 Me’ from Franky Nuts. Check out the three tracks below!
