Quality Goods Records is closing the year off with a bang! After a year of incredible releases they’ve got one left, a massive compilation which drops this Friday. QGRC-004 is set to feature the future of trap and bass music including two FUXWITHIT favourites: Rohaan & Bonnema. Today we have the pleasure of debuting their insane new collab ‘Bigfoot.’ The collaboration came together out of mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work. With love on both sides it was only a matter of time before the two collided. What started as a demo for Rohaan on a plane over a year ago, eventually evolved into one of the most immersive and unique bangers we’ve heard this year.
“We wanted to take this project to the wilderness and supernatural setting. Shit sounds like Bigfoot,” Bonnema tells us. The two manage to pull this off with perfection. ‘Bigfoot’ brings listeners into an ancient forest with towering trees as the full moon peaks through the vast canopy. The deep bass and mystical groove will put you under a spell as you wander through the beautiful yet foreboding woodland. Tribal chants in the distance pull you in as you trek deeper and deeper. Before you know it, you wonder into a dark cave and awaken Bigfoot. The heavy bass is your heart-pounding as you stare down the mystical beast. Just when you think things can’t get anymore intense a chase ensues and you’re running for your life as drum and bass soundtracks the scene. With the bass stripped away you finally start to feel safe as ‘Bigfoot’ drifts away.
