A promising new name in the realm of bass, Icon Collective student Zarian utilizes immense creative depth, harnessing a precarious duality between dubstep and riddim, allowing his style to stand out among the masses. Quickly rising the ranks of the local Virginia scene in 2018, he topped off a standout year with his first official release via Biophaze & Rough Records titled ‘Ominous’, which has soared beyond 20,000 plays on SoundCloud.
The latest release from the Burke, native illustrates a new creative depth, revealing a synonymous ability to work with a clearly identified starting point, weaving the heartfelt emotional synth build of Oliverse’s ‘Get High’, an unsuspecting hastening in pace catapults the remix into an onslaught of aggressive wobbles, which flow seamlessly with bits & pieces of the synth melody blended into the backdrop.
